TyneHealth’s Extended Access service – which provides patients registered with a North Tyneside GP practice with the opportunity to book out of hours medical appointments in hubs across the borough – will continue to operate across the Easter Bank Holiday.

However there will be some changes to the sites being used and the operational hours due to the Bank Holiday; with extra appointments available during the day for the two bank holidays.

Patients who need an appointment outside of their GP’s normal working hours should ring the Extended Access appointments line on 0191 486 2195.
