TyneHealth – the GP Federation for North Tyneside – would like to introduce Patricia Whelan-Moss, who started this week as our new CEO.
Patricia has over 25 years of experience working in Primary Care, both locally and nationally and started here career working as a GP Receptionist and then Practice Manager here in North Tyneside.
She went onto to management and leadership roles in the Strategic Health Authority, United Health UK, and Brent CCG before she relocated back to the North East where she has been working for the past 8 months as Head of Test and Trace at the Integrated COVID Hub North East, hosted by Newcastle Hospitals Trust.
Patricia will join the TyneHealth Board of Directors alongside Dr Susannah Thompson and Les Miller who are the organisation’s Medical Director and Chair of the Board, respectively.
We are all really looking forward to working with Patricia and drawing on her extensive knowledge, expertise and experience of Primary Care.

Patricia will be based at our head office at Hedley Court in North Shields and is keen to have conversations with our member GP practices to develop relationships and improve the services we provide to patients.
