David W. Bavaird

It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of David on Tuesday 15th August 2023.

David has been a valuable member of TyneHealth board since 29th July 2021 and despite his illness he continued to provide his knowledge and expertise until his passing.

David’s commitment to the federation and to the people of North Tyneside was outstanding, he was always working to bring people together to benefit the wider population. He was inspirational and a great mentor who brought positivity into any room.

On behalf of all the staff at TyneHealth our deepest condolences are with David’s wife Anne and his family. We share in the enormous loss of a true gentleman.

David’s funeral will be held at 12.30pm 29th August 2023 at The Church of the Holy Saviour, Broadway Tynemouth NE30 2LS (no black ties preferred) followed by an opportunity to remember David at the Old Low Lights Heritage Centre, Clifford’s Fort Moat, North Shields NE30 1JE.
