In need of an evening or weekend appointment? 

TyneHealth provides patients registered with a North Tyneside practice with the opportunity to book appointments in local Extended Access Hubs (central locations).

The appointments are provided by local doctors and nurses who work in North Tyneside GP practices and have full access to your medical records. 

Appointments can be booked by contacting your own GP practice or when your practice is closed, via the TyneHealth Extended Access Appointment number 0191 486 2195.

You can make an appointment to see one of the following clinicians:

  • GP
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioners (prescribers who see and treat minor injuries/illnesses)
  • Practice Nurse
  • Health Care Assistant

Patients will be given an appointment at the most convenient or appropriate location for them. Appointments are currently available at the following locations:
